What wears me out in the Pacific, is my constant menacing the crew with them wearing safety lines. The first week I set strickt rules, but as the weather improved, I said people should use their good judgement for securing themselves. But there is no such thing as common sense, and much to 20% of my crew’s dismay I changed the rules today: in the night time everybody needs to wear lifejackets and safety line, in the daytime when steering or working on the side of the raft one has to wear a safety line. When swimming one needs to have a buddy spotting oneself, and a use a line attached to the ship. If we are completely halted noone needs safety lines when bathing. That has only hoppende once..
I am very happy with the rules, and happy skipper= happy life.

Gode sikkerhetsrutiner i Stillehavet = god nattesøvn her hjemme.
Bra å høre du er nøye med sikkerheten.
