Stowing the truck.
We rented a 35m3 truck from Hertz, which we filled up with all of out things in under three hours with good help from friends and family!

Moving from Bergen.
My uncle and I drove the 8 hour drive to Kristiansand, and never once stopped talking. I love drives like that. People were waiting for us as we pulled up to Erling Skakkes vei, and we emptied the truck in less than two hours! Friends stopped by for a visit and to have a few house warming drinks. My friend Nicole’s parents brought apple cake and whipped cream. My mon brought her delicious Mulligatawny soup. At midnight I was home after picking up Jan at the airport.

First night in our new home
I fell asleep looking at Ursa Major, and woke up with Taurus peeping in the bedroom window. When I got up, the sunrise was orange and blue and beautiful

Resting day.
Walked in the forest called Baneheia and found the mushrooms I know, kantarell and traktkantarell. My parents invited us for dinner, and they brought dessert to our new home to see how installed we had gotten.

Back to work
I was meant to go to Egersund for work, but for some reason I ended up in Arendal, which is both closer to Kristiansand and has a more interesting boat to maneuver. Colleagues seem great and we sleep in proper beds in an apartment rather than a small cabin on a boat. I am happy to get the privacy before I go on the raft for 6 weeks.
